Still blues skies…….

Pistes are hard and fast, no ice and the cold weather is keeping the snow on and off piste in great condition. One hour teaching today with a great skier….Lots of steep pitches and tight turning in narrow gulleys. Freeride ski school soiree tonight. We are going nightime tree climbing in the woods at the ropes park. Then its off for the obligatory fondue and beer!

Big day tomorrow guiding clients around the PDS, so no hangover hopefully!!

Snowy Days in the Mountains

Welcome to my new Blog!! Its been another day in Paradise…..Blue skies, empty pistes, great snow and NO one to teach snow plough to!! Champéry is currently having the best winter in years with amazing snow and great weather to boot. The last week has been perfect with few lessons and time to visit Scott and pick up new kit. I have awesome new Scott Crusade skis, they are the most stable fat skis I have ever skied on. They turn on ice, powder, crud, big turns and small…..Yeehah!  The bikes are something else, BLING BLING! I am scared to get them wet and dirty!! Time will tell as there is a snow race looming in the next fortnight!!

Tonight is Ski Nocturn (Night skiing) we can make some fast big turns on even more deserted slopes!
